Hello everybody and welcome to episode 10 of the podcast: Travelling Light. A warm welcome to all new and returning listeners, as always.
The main focus of the jibber jabber this week is that of travel knitting. How do you do yours? Are you strictly vanilla sock or do you go big with a shawl? I ponder the trials and tribulations of aeroplane travel with or without one’s knitting needles from London and Johannesburg. There is also a bit of discussion about how one keeps one’s Golden Skeins safe when moving hemispheres and a précis of my top 3, from Nurturing Fibres and Flamboyance Yarns, which may be superseded by a newer offering from the Knitting Goddess. We end with a rallying cry not to do weird stuff just to get your knitting onto a plane. You know it makes sense, people.
