Knitting News

Unwind Brighton takes place this coming weekend at the Brighton Corn Exchange in Brighton, East Sussex. I’m going; come along to the podcaster meet up at 1300 on Saturday on the mezzanine about the Marketplace. You can see which fabulous vendors will be in attendance here.

There has been an exciting Big Reveal this weekend on the KnitBritish Podcast episode 8.5 and on the blogs of Jess (Ginger Twist Studio) and Clare (Yarn And Pointy Sticks) about their upcoming collaboration, Head to Toe. Go over here and check out the teaser photos and bag your discount code!

Want to go to Scotland’s answer to Unwind? Get your diary out for next year and put 14-15th March in there as Edinburgh Yarn Festival is back! They have just opened applications for vendors and it looks like it is going to be a big one, with a marketplace, workshops, coffee and cake break out areas and a soiree to boot! Follow all the details over at the EYF website.

Knitalong All Of The Things with either P-Hop’s Commonwealth KAL of the Dear Green shawl or join in a Lush cardigan knit along with me, Louises Hunt and Scollay and Aimee Nicholson, Big Boss of the soon to be opening Harbour Yarns. I will be knitting mine in the lovely and BRITISH Blacker Swan from Blacker Yarns.
