Cats to Knit and Crochet
1) Cat in a Corset by Anna Hrachovec
Part of a 4-pattern e-book, Cozy Squozy Cats, this is a knitted pattern for a miniature cat wearing a corset. Of course.
It’s $6 and available here on Ravelry.
Carole Baskin would be all over this leopard print stranded beanie. Being worsted weight, it should work up fairly quickly, and keep all you crazy cats and kittens nice and cosy.
The pattern is $6 and available on Ravelry.

3) Cat Hair Finger Puppet by Kaori Tsutaya and Amy Hirschmann
This unusual pattern for a finger puppet made out of actual cat hair is one from a collection in the book Crafting With Cat Hair: Cute Handicrafts to Make With Your Cat. I’ve never crafted with or felted cat hair myself (I’m allergic) but it’s an interesting idea!
You can buy the book for $9.71 on Amazon.
4) Cat in the Night Mittens by Lumi Karimitsa
This cracking pattern is from Wild Mittens and Unruly Socks 2: 22 More Outrageously Unique Knitting Patterns which is available from Amazon at $16.59.
5) Slouchy Cat Hat by Maria Gilligan
Part of the Cat Knits book, this slouchy, knitted, DK weight hat will add a touch of the sinister cat to your wardrobe. The book is £16.99 from Search Press.
6) Cat Lover Blanket by Marken of the Hat & I
Sneaking in a crochet pattern here for the hookers, who are also cat lovers. This is a super-fun blanket pattern that looks great in these bright colours.
You can get the pattern on Ravelry for $5.99.
7) Cats Love Sweaters by Christine Landy
Apparently ‘cats love sweaters, almost as much as they love sarcasm’. Judging by the image in this pattern, I would be inclined to agree. This cat is RAGING.
You can find this pattern for free on Ravelry.
This pattern is from Cats in Hats: 30 Knit and Crochet Patterns For Your Kitty printed by Running Press. As if one comedy hat pattern wasn’t enough – you have a further 29 to play with!
You can get the book at Amazon for $10.19.
9) Cat Window Valence by Christine Nault
This free crochet pattern will allow you to adorn your window with cats! Find it on Ravelry here.
10) 095 Cat Sphynx Findus with Wire Frame Amigurumi by Little Owls Hut
This jaw dropping pattern is more of a work of art than a knitted project. Little Owls Hut has a wide range of similarly amazing patterns, that you should definitely check out. If you want to make this crocheted cat, the pattern is on Ravelry for $9.97.

The cat in the pink sweater killed me!! 🙂
The finished object pages are comedy gold!
love your show . just found on you google. I am a long time quilter (primarily) and a long time knitter and crocheter (?) since about 6 years old. I just celebrated my 59th. birthday. I was inspired to take up both crafts by Great granny. My knitting stash is now starting to multiply as I knit to de-stress in these challenging COVID times. I am listening to all your going through all your old podacsts and really enjoying them. Thanks very much
