Intro

This week I am thrilled to welcome Allison Thistlewood and Rachel Brown onto the show to talk about all things yarn and business. These two ladies are great fun to chat to, so I am sure you’ll find this bumper episode entertaining.

Interview

Alison and Rachel run Yarn In The City as well as podcasting under the same name. Event organisers extraordinaire, they are behind the Great London Yarn Crawl in September 2015, which will be in its third year. You can still get a few tickets for this event, which is almost sold out already. There will also be a marketplace with great vendors both from London and across the UK. Also, there will be an Indie Designer Spotlight too, featuring Helen Stewart, Louise Zass-Bangham, Renee Callaghan, Boo Knits and Kate Atherley. On Sunday, Kate will be running two workshops on design and pattern writing for knit designers.

You can find Allison here and Porpoise Fur is Rachel’s spinning fibre business.

Wrap-Up

That’s all from me this week. As always, thank you for listening. Feedback is always appreciated, and you can email me or message me via Ravelry or social media. If you enjoyed listening today, please consider leaving an iTunes review, to help others find the podcast too. Happy crafting!
