Hello and welcome one and all to episode 2 of the podcast: Stop. Bunny time! This week promises a lot of travel chatter as I have just been off on a road trip around Kwa-Zulu Natal, Swaziland and the Kruger National Park.
Welcome

Travelling Light (4:05)
This week, the SA section is being encompassed in the whole podcast as there has been some serious road tripping going on. There is a bit of snow madness and a snow wedding! The first stop was Durban, where we got curried up and tried the local delicacy that is the Bunny Chow. If you fancy a crack at making one, you can find a recipe here. Be warned, this level of stodge is not for the faint hearted!
Wippin’ Piccadilly (15:30)
The Owls jumper is still ongoing, along with the Damask of Doom, which is making steady progress. The iMake Ravelry thread offers lots of top tips for knitting this pattern. The previously-Kebnekaise-now-socks-for-me socks are about half done, with the Milly socks being ripped back due to having baggy legs. We hve nothing off the needles, but there is a quick sewing update and a few top tips on disobedient fabric.
More travel exploits – Swaziland (29:40)
Jo cuts around the Ngwenya Glass Craft Village looking for Swazi Fire Sauce and a rocking horse and coming away with neither. Check out the sister factory in just outside Jo’berg and try some of Gilroy’s beer.
Review (34:40)
Hear about my take on the International Quilting Convention (Africa). Yarn love comes in the form of Nurturing Fibres, Colourspun and Arthur Bales, whilst we get button happy at Incomparable Buttons.
That’s a wrap (43:30)
