It’s been a while since I started a blog post with a song lyric. And I actually have a strong dislike for the overplayed ‘build me up, buttercup’, which was cool for a while, but now it’s my cue to exit the dance floor in search of a fresh G&T. Not that I actually go out that much anymore as a) I have a 7 month old, I haven’t been on the razzle properly for about a year and a half now and b) I live in the middle of nowhere, which in Africa is really the middle of nowhere. Anyway, as usual, I digress…
This post is in honour of my little blog being ‘bigged up’ by the lovely Louise on episode 42 of the Caithness Craft Collective podcast. Thank you! 42 is indeed the meaning of life, so if you don’t already, get yourself over there and have a listen. It’s good stuff. Just like the 21 year old ‘Old Pulteney’…
So to all those of you who have found this blog via the podcast – welcome! And, all those of you who have been reading my ramblings, witty and otherwise, for a while – lovely to see you again!
